Rivulets of water cascade slowly down your skin
When you slowly force your body onto mine
As my fingers trace every curve that is your own
And your eyes engulf mine with a hunger that I know

You burn under my caresses
While my restraint buckles from yours

And the sounds that echoed from those four walls now belongs to my insanity

This closeness is a welcome suffocation
The coldness of the morning is of no importance
We have been used to these temperatures of late
As you say, it serves as an excuse to share our warmth

Daggers began floating above us

Isang alien civilization ang unang dumating sa mundo sa panahon wala pang kasaysayan at sa pamamagitan nito ay bumalangkas ang unang tao. Dumaan ang ilang siglo, ang tao ay nakagawa na ng mga koloya sa buwan at nakatuklas ng isang obelisk sa buwan. Isang misyon sa buwan na Japetus ng Jupiter ay ginawa, dahil naniniwala sila na ito ang pinagmulan ng obelisk na ang pangalan ay TMAI o Tycho Magnetic Anomaly-One. Ang tripulante ng spaceship Discovery ay binubuo ni HAL 9000, isang super-computer, Frank Poole, David Bowman at tatlo pang astronauts na in Hibernation. Ang utos ni HAL ay isaalang-alang ang tagumpay ng misyon sa ibabaw ng lahat na secretong utos na hindi alam ni Poole at Bowman na nagresulta sa pagkamatay ng mga astronauts. Si Poole lang ang naiwan na buhay, at pagkatapos niyang patayin ang computer na si HAL, siya ay nagpatuloy sa kanyang sarili sa Japetus. Dito, nakakita siya ng TMAII, kapareho sa natkulasan sa buwan.
